FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you accept same day orders?
We can accommodate same-day holds on any available items Monday-Friday via phone. For Saturdays and Sundays (and most holidays) we operate on a first come, first served basis in order to make it fair for customers waiting in line.
*Please note: We do not accept call ahead orders for beverages or savory menu items. We like to keep our food quality as high as possible, and we have found that pre-making savory food causes a decrease in its quality. Our savory team moves quickly, and strives to have your food to you in less than 10 minutes from when you place your order at the register.
How do I pay for my preorder?
If your order is same-day, you will pay for your order when you pick it up in the bakery. If your pre-order is 48 hours in advance, you can check out through our online store using a credit card or plastic/electronic gift card. We don’t accept payment info over the phone or email. (Note: hand written paper gift certificates must be redeemed at the register.
Do you work with any other delivery services?
We do not work with any food delivery services. Delivery may be available depending on order size, schedule, and driver availability for an additional delivery fee.
Please reach out to info@dozen-nashville.com for more info.
Do you accept orders for items not on your current menu?
At this time, we’re unable to take special orders for items not listed on our current bread and pastry menus. We do have on-menu specialty items that are not in the shop every day, and those are always available for preorder while listed on our online menu.
Do you cater?
While we are not a catering company, we can accommodate orders for larger groups. Please email info@dozen-nashville.com with your requests.

ITEM QUESTIONS:
Do you sell sourdough starter?
While we don’t sell our starter, we’re happy to include some with your order. Just let us know when you place your order.
Do you have any vegetarian or vegan items?
We usually have a variety of vegan items on our savory menu, and most of our bread is vegan. Please ask for more details!
Do you have any gluten-free, or nut-free items?
We are not a gluten-free or nut-free facility, so while some products might not be made with nuts or gluten-containing ingredients, we don’t feel comfortable stating any of our products are gluten- or nut-free.
Do you ship your items?
Our products are baked without preservatives and meant to be enjoyed the day they're baked, so we’re unable to ship any of our baked goods. We have online gift cards (link to website) available!
GENERAL QUESTIONS:
Do you have parking?
There is street parking available in front of the bakery on Hagan Street. We are also located next to a Park Happy paid lot but the first hour is free! You must scan the QR codes located around the parking lot and enter license plate information before coming inside. Not scanning the QR code could result in a ticket, even if your visit is brief. If you happen to receive a ticket, it can be disputed directly with Park Happy.
Do you allow pets inside the bakery?
The only animals allowed inside the bakery are service animals. Under Tennessee Law, this does not extend to Emotional Support Animals, even if they are certified. We have an outside patio where you can sit with your pet if you have brought them with you, and are always happy to bring your pup some water!
Is your space accessible to people with physical disabilities?
If you or your party is having difficulty accessing our space, please call us at (615) 712-8150. We will do everything we can to accommodate you.
What measures are you taking to keep your staff and your customers safe?
We are following and staying up-to-date on Metro Health Department procedures and guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization.
If you feel uncomfortable coming inside the bakery we recommend placing a preorder and upon arrival to the bakery, giving us a call to bring your order out to you. We will do our best to accommodate this during our busiest times.
